What is involved in treatment?

Our volume rejuvenation services involve procedures aimed at addressing changes in facial volume and promoting a more balanced appearance. These procedures utilise advanced techniques to enhance facial features and restore natural volume, resulting in a revitalised and youthful appearance.

Prescription medication is injected into the skin with a very fine needle with the procedure taking approximately 30 minutes. Prior to treatment a topical anaesthetic or dental block may be administered for increased comfort. The type and amount of product used will vary from person to person and depend on the area being treated. Results are seen immediately.

Is treatment safe?

New Age Cosmetics only uses products that are well researched, proven and tested. Treatment should not be performed during pregnancy, breastfeeding and on those with certain medical conditions and medications. Therefore it is important to disclose your medical history prior to treatment.

What are the side effects?

Side effects of dermal filling may include swelling, redness and occasional bruising. This will disappear within a couple of days although occasional severe bruising can last up to 10-14 days. Although most people resume their daily routine immediately after treatment some more severe side effects, such as severe bruising and infection can occur. Rarer risks include nodules and vascular occlusion, which is why it is important to have treatments with a qualified practitioner. All of the fillers used at New Age Cosmetics are dissolvable for maximum safety.

What areas of the face can be treated?

Dermal fillers are injected to soften lines and wrinkles or to enhance facial volume and restore facial contours that have weakened with time. Areas that can be treated include:

How long do results last?

The longevity of results may vary depending on factors such as individual metabolism and treatment specifics. However, our treatments typically provide results that last between 6 to 12 months, promoting temporary but effective enhancement.

Post treatment information

• Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours post treatment
• Avoid alcohol consumption for at least 24 hours
• In the initial 24-48 hours you may experience swelling, redness and tenderness which is normal and will subside within 2-4 days post treatment
• At the injection site, you may see bruising which will resolve 1-10 days post treatment
• An icepack may be applied for swelling and comfort post treatment
• Ensure to keep hydrated and drink plenty of water
